1. Put the 4 compost discs into a bowl. Add 1 litre of warm tap water.

2. Now wait for 10 minutes and watch them grow! Stir with a spoon.

3. Using a large spoon, share the compost between the 4 green pockets. As you fill the pockets, push the compost down gently. Sharing the compost leave 4 spoonfuls in the bowl for later.

4. Take 1 plant pocket out. Pour half a litre of water into the reservoir.

5. Sprinkle my Chive seeds into 1 green plant pocket and cover lightly with a spoonful of the compost you kept back.

6. Put my purple plant stick in, then peel my sticker and put me on the white pot so I can remind you which seeds are mine.

7. Now repeat instructions 5 and 6 with my friends.

Remember to put the pot on a windowsill or in a light place. You will need to pour more water into the reservoir each week to make sure it is never empty.

Remember, if you look after us well you will have some wonderful herbs to help you cook tasty meals.
