Welcome to Handy Herbs!

herbsThere are many rewards to growing herbs, making them a perfect introduction to both gardening and cooking for children.Loving my herbs on the windowsill.

The motto ‘Sow me, grow me, eat me!’ aims to encourage children to grow, harvest and cook with their own herbs. Many children are unaware of the connection between what we grow and what we eat. The Herb Kit encourages children to grow their own food that is healthy.Herb Kit Box

  1. Hi Sara, these sound great and I could do with a Kit For Kids myself as I am hopeless at growing anything, but cactus. Saying that though we do have a Rosemary and oregano bush in the garden and when get round to it I plan to buy some basil plants.

You can’t beat fresh herbs in cooking.

    1. I always think it is important to involve children in growing herbs and vegetables. They learn such a lot and can use what they have grown in cooking 🙂
